Every Matt Damon Movie Ranked Worst To Best
57. Youth Without Youth (2007)
Based on
the novella of the same name, Youth Without Youth was the first film veteran
director Francis Ford Coppola had directed in almost a decade. The fantasy-drama
sees Tim Roth play an aging academic who is given a new life after a freak
accident and goes on a bizarre and enlightening journey.
Damon turns
up briefly as a reporter for Life Magazine, giving a decent but all-too-brief
performance, and the rest of the film, whilst visually striking and featuring
thoughtful ideas, is constantly tripped up by a confusing plot and uneven tone.
