It takes someone incredibly special, and ridiculously powerful to be classed as the strongest Avenger over Captain Marvel, and though it is by the smallest of margins, Wanda Maximoff is that person. She too was gifted powers by an infinity stone, and has grown exponentially stronger with every MCU appearance she has made.

She has overpowered Vision, would have easily defeated Thanos had he not ordered his troops to rain fire, and though she hasn't really shown it since Age of Ultron, she has the ability to get inside her enemies' minds and corrupt them from within.

Fueled by the tragic losses of her parents, her brother, her entire country, and her love, Wanda's powers have seemingly grown with every tragedy she has faced, and while she has learnt to control and harness her destructive potential since the incident in Lagos where she accidentally killed innocent people, this may not be the case for long.

In the upcoming WandaVision series on Disney+, Scarlet Witch will seemingly see her powers grow even more, and could even see them tear the entire universe apart in the very near future. Should she ultimately become the MCU's next big bad as some have theorised, it may take even more to stop her than it did Thanos.
