Every MCU Movie Ranked By Death Count

8. Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2 - 225

Guardians Of The Galaxy 2

The second outing from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise saw the titular team square up against arguably one of the most powerful villains in the history of the MCU. Ego was a Celestial who lived for millions of years before being killed by his own son.

When his expansion plan took flight after he plugged Star-Lord in like a battery, he was able to kill beings all over the universe including 19 on Earth, 44 on Xandar, and 6 more on another unnamed planet. To say he wanted to take over the entire universe, this was a relatively low number for Ego, but this isn't taking into account the hall filled with the bones of the children he murdered throughout his long existence.

It was Yondu who took the most lives in this movie. During his escape from being held by the Ravagers, his Yaka Arrow killed 129 of his former colleagues, with Rocket and Groot both chipping in with one each. 19 more of the Ravagers were killed during the mutiny against Yondu in the first place, as they ended up floating through space in exactly the same way he himself ultimately met his end.

The only other death came right at the start. The Guardians were hired to protect the Anulax batteries by the Soveriegn from a huge space monster known as an Abilisk, and while it may have been overshadowed by Baby Groot dancing to ELO, they were successful.
