Bringing together almost every character from the last ten years of films, Avengers: Infinity War sets its sights on finally having inevitable big bad Thanos (Josh Brolin) fulfil his goal of acquiring all the coveted and all-powerful Infinity Stones.

An epic and violent film that scatters its heroes across the universe and stacks the odds impossibly high against them, Infinity War is a staggering portrayal of just how willing and determined the MCU's heroes are, even in the face of insurmountable evil.

Everyone gets a chance to shine, but the image you'll always be left with is that of Thanos, a man so desperate to grasp his destiny he's willing to kill his own daughter. Evil and hopelessness like this may never be seen in the franchise again.
