6. Dr. T & The Women (2000)

Doctor T And The Women Richard Gere
Artisan Entertainment

One of the final projects completed by legendary filmmaker Robert Altman, Dr. T and the Women is a not-bad, not-great rom-com starring Richard Gere as a "wealthy gynaecologist" (apparently that's a thing) whose life spins wildly out of control.

Benefiting from its diverse female cast - including Helen Hunt, Farrah Fawcett, Laura Dern, Shelley Long, Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler - it's still hard not to feel like Altman was wasting his talent on material this middle-of-the-road.

It's certainly leagues ahead of most of the films on this list, but ultimately far too broad for its own good, and the cast and crew clearly deserved better. Unlike many lesser films already mentioned, however, it's incredibly easy to forget you ever even watched this.
