Every Movie That Received An F CinemaScore Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Killing Them Softly (2012)

When Andrew Dominik's crime thriller was marketed largely with images of Brad Pitt holding a shotgun, is it much surprise that the more talky, politically-laced end result left people confused and angry?

Though the comically unsubtle political commentary is sure to irk some, Dominik's film is sharply acted by an ensemble cast, often darkly funny and brutally violent. It's certainly the best-directed and most engaging film to ever receive an F grade, even if it didn't deliver the surging, fast-paced thrills audiences were expecting.

Thanks to a teeny $15 million budget, though, Killing Them Softly still managed to make $37.9 million worldwide, which given how fast word-of-mouth should've killed it, is nothing short of a minor miracle.
