Every Non-MCU Marvel Movie RANKED From Worst To Best
37. X-Men: Dark Phoenix
The X-Men movies have had some historical highs and some laughable lows, but unfortunately this disaster of a movie is too low to even laugh at.
After almost twenty years, X-Men had become an exhausted zombie of a franchise, slowly shambling towards a lazy death. Dark Phoenix was intended to fix the mistakes made by The Last Stand, but ended up making even worse mistakes.
It also wastes arguably the best part of the X-Men prequel movies: the sparkling and borderline-romantic chemistry shared by James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender . They share about five minutes of screentime, which McAvoy described as "a great travesty, and one of the great missed opportunities of this incarnation of the X-Men saga."
