Every Non-MCU Marvel Movie RANKED From Worst To Best
18. The Wolverine
Wolverine's second solo outing is a hell of a lot better than his first, and was a good sign of things to come.
Taking inspiration from some of the most beloved Wolverine comics of all time, the story mainly takes place in Japan and centres on Wolverine's struggle with his newfound mortality. The combination of samurai swords and adamantium claws makes for a thrilling ride.
Even with some top notch action set pieces, this film is still a bit formulaic, but shows glimpses of what director James Mangold would later achieve with Logan.
