19. The Amazing Spider-Man
When Sony announced they were rebooting Spider-Man rather than continuing the Sam Raimi series, we were all understandably upset. Then they announced that the new director was some guy named Marc Webb, and we all had a bit of a chuckle. Then, the movie actually came out, and lo and behold, we actually had a pretty good time!
The Amazing Spider-Man is not, as the title would have you believe, amazing, but it is a very enjoyable popcorn flick. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone make for compelling leads, and their chemistry is off-the-charts cute.
Oh, and one more thing: we don't care what anyone says, the spider suit is really cool in this one.
