Every Non-MCU Marvel Movie RANKED From Worst To Best
35. X-Men: Apocalypse
With First Class, Deadpool, and Days of Future Past, the X-Men series was on the fast track to regaining its reputation as a fantastic superhero franchise. This came to a grinding halt as soon as Apocalypse was released.
It is well documented that a lot of the talent involved in Apocalypse did NOT enjoy making it, and that negative cloud over the production is infectious. The whole thing feels uninspired, lazy, and brings absolutely nothing new to the table.
It also continues the X-Men movies' bad habit of turning some of their most interesting characters into little more than featured extras. Did Olivia Munn's Psylocke even speak in this movie? We certainly can't remember.
