Every Philip Seymour Hoffman Movie Ranked Worst To Best
39. Henry - Strangers With Candy (2005)
A prequel to the cult TV show of the same name, Strangers with Candy is nothing more than an overlong episode of television in which fans get to see more dark comedy from fortysomething high schooler Jerri Blank (Amy Sedaris).
Though the film leaves little to be desired, it does sport a wicked sense of nostalgia and an hilariously confused and straight-faced cameo from Hoffman, who plays a member of the school board and clearly has an unhealthy obsession with his colleague (Allison Janney). It's brief, but it's also the best part of the film.
