Every Pixar Movie Ranked Worst To Best
20. The Good Dinosaur (2015)
The Good Dinosaur was a nightmare to make behind the scenes. There were delays, a brief spell in development hell, and script rewrites that caused some key members of the creative team to bail from production.
In the end, what Pixar were left with was a sweet and visually triumphant tale in which a dinosaur goes on a journey with a young caveman, in a world where the dinosaurs were never wiped out by a meteorite. This setting in particular is spectacular, allowing the animators to really let loose their imaginative powers with a brilliant "what-if" story.
The finished product is let down by a far too inconsequential plot, where the stakes are disappointingly low for a Pixar adventure about unlikely friendship and family woes, but thanks to the visuals and the likeable characters, it stands up pretty well.
