Every Rocky Opponent Ranked From Worst To Best

Creed II revisits Rocky IV and gives it a new dimension with the return of Ivan Drago. Humiliated after his defeat, the Russian has found new glory through his son, Viktor, whom he intends to use to fight Adonis Creed.

The young boxer has been trained through hate as well as with the obsession of restoring the honor of the Drago family name. And while his father wasn't the most fleshed-out villain during his debut, Viktor makes up for that by having a tragic backstory through his upbringing.

Despite being a first-time actor, Florian Monteneau delivers on the emotion, whether it's the character's frustrations with his father's desire to please his country or his heartbreak when his mother abandons him for a second time. This makes the character someone to root for, and by the time Adonis Creed is pummeling him during their second match, we feel relief once Ivan throws in the towel for him. Of course, Monteneau is also effective due to how physically imposing he is, making audiences worried for Donnie.

The character makes a surprise return in Creed III, now on good terms with Adonis and even helping him with his upcoming fight.
