Every Spider-Man Movie Ranked Worst To Best

Honourable Mention

Iron Man 2

Whether you choose to accept it as fully canonical or not, there's a lot of talk at the minute about the so-called cameo of a young Peter Parker in Iron Man 2. It all comes down to Tom Holland, who entertained - and seemingly encouraged - the theory that the young boy seen wearing an Iron Man mask was indeed Parker (which is why he idolises Stark so much).

Is it really Peter Parker? Holland seems to think so, and Kevin Feige refused to rule it out (and he generally LOVES to rule things out).

So assuming it is, you have to count Iron Man 2 as a sort-of Spider-Man movie (it plays a part in his origin, after all), and frankly, it's not great. There are things to admire in there (the portrayal of Stark's addiction for instance), but the decision to badly edit out the detail of Mickey Rourke's Whiplash is awful and a lot of the story-telling leaves a lot to be desired. It's easily one of the worst MCU movies to date, in fact.
