Every Stan Lee Cameo Ranked From Worst To Best
16. Big Hero 6 (2014)
Big Hero 6 marked Stan Lee's first appearance in a major animated superhero movie, and though he had no involvement in the creation of the property, it's still neat to see him show up in the film's post-credits scene.
After being featured in a portrait painting earlier in the movie, fans might've thought that was all she wrote for Stan the Man, but he re-appears in a stinger as the father of Fred (T.J. Miller).
After Fred stumbles into pop's secret superhero lair, the man himself shows up, embracing Fred and setting up a sequel where Fred will take up his retired father's mantle.
The character design, obviously fashioned on a younger Lee, is terrific, and it's just a great little slice of added value for those who dared to slog through the credits.
15. Ant-Man & The Wasp (2018)
Ant-Man and the Wasp may be a fairly workmanlike MCU offering, but it delivers one of the better recent Lee cameos during the climactic car chase through San Francisco.
Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) accidentally fires a Pym Particle disk at a car belonging to Lee's old man, causing him to stare on in amazement as his car shrinks down to the size of, well, a Hot Wheels car.
The kicker is Lee's response: "Well, the 60s were fun, but now I'm paying for it." A two-pronged nod to both the acid-tinged hey-day of the 1960s and also the hallucinogenic creations that Lee has given the world, it's a terrific cameo and obviously notable as the last MCU cameo to release while he was still alive.
