Every Stan Lee Cameo Ranked From Worst To Best
38. Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Though Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 remains one of the greatest superhero movies of all time, Lee's cameo itself sadly isn't up to much here.
Following Doctor Octopus' (Alfred Molina) bank heist, a fight breaks out with Spidey (Tobey Maguire) high in the sky, causing some rubble to fall from a building and smash down on the busy New York street.
Cue one quick-thinking elderly man - played by Lee - who grabs a woman and pulls her to safety fractions of a second before the rubble impacts with where she was standing.
It's a nice little heroic moment for Lee, but it's basically just a rehash of his cameo from Raimi's first Spider-Man, even though it takes place during an undeniably awesome set-piece.
37. Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014)
Lee makes one of his ickier cameos during Guardians of the Galaxy, appearing on Xandar as an old man flirting with a much younger woman, hand around the waist and all, as spotted by Rocket (Bradley Cooper).
It's only really Rocket's pithy one-liner that makes this one memorable - "Look at Mr. Smiles over here. Where's your wife, old man? What a class-A pervert." Otherwise it's just an old dude being a creep, which isn't terribly flattering.
Thankfully Lee was given a far meatier cameo for the sequel, but more on that much, much later.
