36. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)

When Peter Parker (this time played by Andrew Garfield) is late for his graduation, he's forced to quickly change from his Spider-Man suit into his graduation gown, causing him to be caught by an older gentleman in the crowd, who quips, "I think I know that guy!"

It's more cheeky than clever, but it's a fun little nod towards Lee's creation of the character regardless.

On the nose? Absolutely, but it basically nails the right kind of goofiness you'd expect from a Spider-Man movie (even if Marc Webb's movies generally tried to be anything but goofy, rather unsuccessfully).

35. Iron Man 3 (2013)

This is about as throwaway as Lee cameos come, even if it is still mildly amusing. Lee appears on a TV screen as a beauty pageant judge who gives a contestant full marks.

The only reason it sticks in the mind at all is Lee's dementedly happy expression. Otherwise, this is a pretty typical "horndog old guy" cameo, and it's a shame Shane Black didn't take it upon himself to come up with something a little smarter and more imaginative.
