Every Star Wars Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

8. Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones (2002)

Star Wars Rogue One

Though it somehow has better reviews than The Phantom Menace, the second entry into the prequel trilogy is by far the dullest of all the Star Wars movies.

The plot is tedious, the central romance between Anakin and Padme is painful (largely because Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman have zero chemistry), and even the action is only cursorily watchable, because Lucas simply opted to vomit as much movement and colour onto the screen as he thought possible.

It may not be as heartbreaking an experience as its direct predecessor, but it's a lot harder to sit through for all of its stamina-draining 142 minutes.

Best Moment: The absolutely insane Yoda-Dooku fight. It's silly, but damn fun.

Worst Moment: Anakin's infamous "sand" speech to Padme ("I don't like sand. It's coarse, rough and irritating...and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft...and smooth."
