Every Steven Soderbergh Movie Ranked Worst To Best

13. Ocean's Twelve (2004)

Oceans Eleven
Warner Bros.

There's a moment around the mid-way point of Ocean's Twelve where Linus (Matt Damon), Turk (Scott Caan) and Basher (Don Cheadle) attempt to steal a prized egg by having Tess (Julia Roberts) pose...as Julia Roberts. The plan is then foiled...by Bruce Willis.

It's an admittedly silly development in a film that really could have done without it, but casting that aside, Ocean's Twelve is actually a great film.

Though it doesn't live up to the brilliance of the original, Twelve carries with it the same fast-paced style, witty character interactions and brilliantly conceived twists that made its predecessor so good.

The all-star cast is as brilliant as ever - especially a scene-stealing Brad Pitt - and the story, though slightly more stuffy than it needed to be, ends up reaping many rewards for those willing to sit through the crew's latest misadventure.
