A noted improvement over its predecessor, Turtles 2 tones down the creepy horndog humour and amps up the fanboy appeal considerably, with the introduction of fan favourite characters Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams), Rocksteady (Sheamus), Krang (Brad Garrett) and Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry).

It's still dumb as a box of rocks, the plot makes not a lick of sense and there's outrageous product placement everywhere, but the action largely delivers, and the group dynamic is decidedly more fun than the last time. General audiences apparently didn't agree, as the movie bombed at the box office, quietly killing the franchise.
