Every Superhero Movie This Decade Ranked - Worst To Best

38. Power Rangers (2017)

Expectations were enormously low going into this glossy, Transformers-esque reboot of the classic kids' TV show, but you know what? Power Rangers really isn't that bad.

Sure, not all the humour lands and Alpha 5's (Bill Hader) character design is appalling, but the movie takes an unexpected - and weirdly successful - approach to character development, the action sequences are fun, the performances are surprisingly great, and overall it delivers the competent beginnings to a potential franchise.

Despite winning over a good chunk of the fanbase, the movie sadly bombed with general audiences, perhaps in part due to the Rangers only appearing in their suits at the tail-end of the film. It's a shame, because there was far more passion and energy put into this than most initially anticipated.
