Every Tom Cruise Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

40. Endless Love (1981)

Tom Cruise Endless Love
Universal Pictures

Tom Cruise is in Endless Love for only a brief spell, marking his first big screen performance in a romantic drama centred around a forbidden love affair and obsession.

The film itself is forgettable at best, tasteless at worst, and Cruise - only 19 at the time - is both distractingly high-pitched and used only as a clunky plot device. He leaves no mark, and the film itself is best skipped unless you're a Cruise purist and want to see where the actor got his start.

I get to write about what I love, which is cool. You'll typically find me in front of a TV, or hunkered down behind a book, or dreaming of things far away. Be good to each other. Find my other writings here: https://allthethingsineversaid.substack.com/
