The House:

The Folklore Museum has a exhibit that is set to unleash evil. The Rotting Stone will "decay" everything around it. Can you survive the spirits that await you in this deadly museum?

The Verdict:

Universal Creative did a great job of making this house feel like a real museum come to life. The sets within this house were definitely reminiscent of actual museums, from the signs to just how it felt/smelt.

The Rotting Stone also did well at bringing EVERYTHING to life in this house. There was even a scare actor who brought the walls to life. The Rotting Stone cast a glow throughout the house and it kind of reminded me of other houses from HHN past that explored a similar theme of a dark presence transforming those around it, such as Seeds of Extinction from HHN28.

Ultimately this house could have ranked higher, but this year is the strongest and tightest for houses we've seen and unfortunately after we did the hard job of ranking, this one just ended up further down the list.
