The House:

The Goblins are celebrating and have invited everyone to the Goblin Tavern for a feast. There are hobgoblins, orcs, witches and you! The only trouble is the feast isn't for you... it is you!

The Verdict:

We spoke to Creative Director and all round HHN hero Lora Sauls just before HHN began and she told us that Goblin's Feast was this years "funny house." She wasn't wrong. Each year there's at least one house that has a sense of humour with the scares and Goblin's Feast did it well.

This was a brilliant house and the tavern set pieces were built with love. The Goblins and other creatures of the village were funny and unique. It didn't take itself too seriously and was a joy to experience. There were plenty of scares and even the person in our group who said that the humorous houses weren't their thing told us how much they enjoyed it.

After completing this house, I was convinced it would rank in the top three for this year's event, which says everything about the houses we still haven't covered.
