The Marvel Cinematic Universe has always strictly kept on the family side of family friendly, but Moon Knight will be the franchise's first opportunity to truly delve into the darker side of its superheroes.
Since this is still Disney, don't expect this series to hit the same levels as the Moon Knight comics, but this will likely be reminiscent of Daredevil's stint on Netflix, and will explore the supernatural as Marc Spector is given powers by the Egyptian Moon God, Konshu.
Casting for Marvel's closest answer to Batman is still unconfirmed, but the latest rumours have put Keanu Reeves in the anti-hero's shoes. The actor has reportedly been in Kevin Feige's sights for some time, and 2022 could be the year John Wick comes to the MCU.
