Set for release in mid-2022, Ms. Marvel follows a Pakistani-American teenager called Kamala Khan who, as a massive fan of Captain Marvel, is forced to readjust to life after she gains superpowers.

Acting as a set-up series to the movie The Marvels, the show stars Iman Vellani and will be run by Loki writer Bisha Ali. Though there's a sense that the show's story will be almost entirely build-up, the young and diverse cast promises Ms. Marvel will be a coming-of-age tale rarely seen in the MCU.

As it stands, Ms. Marvel is a show best looked forward to because of how much her introduction is going to shake up the franchise next era. It should be spectacular.
