Every Will Smith Movie Ranked Worst To Best

16. Hitch (2005)

King Richard
Columbia Pictures

Will Smith's first and only foray into the big world of rom-coms, Hitch is a fluffy romp that finds the actor playing a relationship advisor who finds love whilst coaching a nervous romantic to go after the woman of his dreams.

Offering up perhaps his most charming performance, Smith is on incredibly good form, mixing a great wit with a surprising amount of physical comedy that never feels out of place. It's also the closest Kevin James has ever come to being funny on-screen.

Sure, it's a little sappy and formulaic, but Hitch is a fun ride all the same, and finds Smith in a genre he could have easily made a career out of but hasn't touched since.
