Every Will Smith Movie Ranked Worst To Best

17. Shark Tale (2004)

King Richard
DreamWorks

It may lay its mob spoof tone on way too thick, but Shark Tale is still a fun little film, brilliantly using Smith's easy charm to bring its ludicrous story to life.

This is basically The Fresh Prince underwater, only with Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese forcing Smith to face-off against the mob after befriending the film's fishy version of Fredo.

It's far from DreamWorks' finest hour, but its homages and voice work has aged surprisingly well, as has the animation itself. Honestly, though Shark Tale gets a bad rep, it's just nice to see everyone involved cutting loose and having some fun.
