Every Wolverine Movie Performance Ranked Worst To Best

1. X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Wolverine Hugh Jackman
20th Century Fox

X-Men: Days Of Future past is the sequel to Matthew Vaughn's amazing First Class. The film sees longtime series director Bryan Singer return for the first time since 2003's X-Men 2.

X-Men 2 might star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence, but it puts an absolutely huge emphasis on Wolverine, with Hugh Jackman's character acting as the bridge between the past and the present. In many ways, Wolverine is the key to the whole film, as he's the only character to truly interact with both the past versions of characters and their present counterparts.

Not only is Days Of Future Past chock full of your standard (and by standard I mean awesome) Wolverine action sequences like his battle against the sentinels, but it also addresses his past run in with Stryker in a novel way, as well as reunites him at the very end with with a host of familiar characters, the most significant being Jean Grey.

If Days Of Future Past had been Wolverine's last on-screen appearance, it would have been an excellent way to go.
