Every Zack Snyder Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga'Hoole
The undeniable black sheep of Snyder's filmography - aka the one most have only seen once - Legend of the Guardians sees the director take his first and only foray into animation for a tale about...warring owls.
Though Snyder unsurprisingly lends the film a dark tone, and his dominant aesthetic is still palpable throughout despite the medium shift, where story and characters are concerned this is mostly pretty forgettable.
It's certainly well-aged for a decade-old animation and is plenty watchable as a curio, but there's very little here as written that is likely to entice even die-hard Snyder fans back for repeat viewings.
In many respects one of the least-contentious films of Snyder's filmography, but once you get over the novelty factor of him making a kids' film, it's also one of the least-interesting to discuss.
