Everything Avengers: Infinity War Fixes About The MCU

7. The Score Issue

Aside from Iron Man 2, the Guardians movies and Thor: Ragnarok, MCU movies have mostly had a problem with music. The scores have been vastly inferior to most other superhero movies, which has always been odd given how important superhero character themes have always been, traditionally.

One of the strongest themes they did have, though, was Alan Silvestri's Avengers tune, which ranks up there with the very best. And the Russos made the wonderful decision to use it more in the film to punctuate moments. So whenever there's a "hero moment" the theme swells and it works magnificently - though not as much as the sombre version of it that was recut for the credits.

And on top of Silvestri's score, there's a great little Guardians musical moment as The Spinners' "Rubber Band Man" greets their appearance. It's a brilliant touch and testament to how well the film does music.
