3. The Thrill Of The Chase
Extraction certainly doesn't waste any time getting into the story. We've established that already. However, it doesn't waste much time throughout the story either, providing audiences with a near two-hour chase that never really stops.
It evokes memories of The Terminator and even the other classic Schwarzenegger flick Commando. And it's oddly fitting, because in many ways, this is essentially a modern reinvention of the classic chase movies of days-gone-by, proving that there is still life in a genre that just we don't see enough of anymore
It defies expectations (and occasionally logic) to deliver a ridiculously entertaining spectacle that never feels like its stretching the realms of believability too far - one that thrills from beginning to end.
