Fan-Casting 7 Big Batman Villains For Ben Affleck's Solo Movies

4. Adam Driver As Scarecrow

One look at Adam Driver's pointed, gaunt face should be enough to tell you that he'd be able to play a creepy doctor who preys on people's fears and forces them to live their worst nightmares; he wouldn't even need the Scarecrow mask to pull that off.

Scarecrow is all about fear, and Batman should fear him too; Driver is six feet two inches tall and can comfortably match Affleck's own six feet and three inches, and that'll go a long way toward convincing us that Bruce would genuinely be afraid of this man, fear toxins or not.

On top of that, he has a way of delivering his lines in an incredibly calm way, even when the line itself is aggressive. It's an unnerving trait, the actor capable of getting under your skin with just a stare and a few short words, and that would be a perfect way to play Dr. Jonathan Crane, Scarecrow's 'normal' persona.

Driver has also shown he can use his size to his advantage while entirely covered under a costume, delivering a menacing Star Wars villain in the form of Kylo Ren. Scarecrow will undoubtedly be hidden in a mask, and given the actor's experience in this area, there are no questions as to whether an outlandish supervillain costume would hamper his performance.
