Fan-Casting 7 Big Batman Villains For Ben Affleck's Solo Movies

3. Rebecca Ferguson As Catwoman

Rebecca Ferguson surprised us all with her breakout role in Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, displaying equal amounts of charm, confidence and action ability, so it's probably a case of when, not if, she gets cast in a comic-book movie.

And she'd be completely perfect as Catwoman. She's basically played the role before anyway; her character in the aforementioned Tom Cruise vehicle, the feisty Ilsa Faust, was as fine a mirror of Selina Kyle as you're likely to see. She played the field, kicked some ass, took no prisoners and didn't rely on anyone else to get the job done for her.

And that's exactly what Catwoman needs to be; unwaveringly confident, deadly and focused. Ferguson carries an intelligence and power that would definitely give Batfleck a run for his money, and we hope she's in the running come casting time.

Oh, and did we mention that she's rocked Catwoman's black, skin-tight outfit before? Check out her biker outfit from Rogue Nation.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
