1. Actual Fantastic Beasts

When it was announced that the second Fantastic Beasts movie was going to be focused on the rise of Grindelwald, you could have been forgiven for wondering how much room there was actually going to be of fantastic beasts to be involved. It even looked a little unlikely that Newt Scamander could be as much of a key figure, given that Grindelwald's story was very much Dumbledore's starring vehicle.

So it's good to see that the trailer has gone out of its way to show off the beasts - including a new underwater variety and a group of Thestrals powering a Hogwarts coach (presumably someone involved there has been touched by death). There's also a bowtruckle, some sort of bird and other creatures to keep all magizoologists' interests peaked.

It's a tiny shame that Niffler didn't get a chance to appear, but it's smart not to overdo it. Nobody wants a Porgs situation again.
