7. Baby Voldemort
Now this is a complete shot in the dark, and more wishful thinking than careful speculation. The appearance of Tom Riddle is unlikely, as his character was born in 1926, the date the film is set to start. However, 1926 also marks the date Newts world tour for magical creatures ended, and perhaps his final stop was London before heading to New York? Alas, this cameo could still occur later in the films, but it might require Newt and co to leave New York, and venture to Wools orphanage in London. It would however seem fitting that Fantastic Beasts introduces the more vulnerable side of Tom Riddle, as lets face it, even when we see him at his youngest in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, the boy is psychotic. Seeing a toddling Tom Riddle complete with nose and all would really be the icing on the cake. This Easter egg could be much more subtle too. As Fantastic Beasts starts in 1926, (same date as Tom Riddles birth) there could perhaps be a shot showing Tom Riddles birth announcement in a newspaper. This would be a nod to the two timelines unknowingly crossing one another.
