In Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince, Potter-heads raised their wands in salute as we saw beloved Albus Dumbledore fall dramatically to his death from the tallest tower. Lets face it, there were tears, there was mourning, and eventually, reluctant acceptance. But rumour has it that there might be some familiar faces in Fantastic Beasts, and if the timeline is correct, that makes the late Headmaster a real strong candidate. Although it remains just a speculation, there is real opportunity for Dumbledore to be brought back to life on our screens. Newt Scamander has already been affiliated with the Harry Potter series, as despite his book being mentioned throughout the films, they also show a portrait of Scamander in the Headmasters office in Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets. Additionally, Newt is said to have returned to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the years 1993-1994 when Dumbledore was still teaching there. Seeing a pattern here? Its not much, but it certainly means Newt and Dumbledore's paths could have crossed. Although these dates place an opportunity of a sighting probably more likely in a 3rd movie, its still pretty exciting. Of course the film could go in a different direction and put Dumbledore in there just for the sake of it. Either way, lets hope J.K. Rowling listens to the pleas of millions of fans: resurrect Albus!
