5. 12 Grimmauld Place

FUN FACT ALERT: Newt worked at the Ministry of Magic before being commissioned to write Fantastic Beasts. During this time he took on two roles, Beast Division, and before that, Office for House-Elf Relocation. And BINGO, that€™s where this one comes in. For a man like Newt, allocating and reassigning house-elves would have most likely included delving into cases where house-elves were perhaps better off elsewhere. After all, nothing screams €˜allocation€™ more than beheading a house elf. As so did happen to Kreacher€™s mother, resident of 12 Grimmauld Place. Grimmauld Place is of course the residence of the Black family, seen in movies "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and the "Deathly Hallows". Although a scene dedicated to this particular Easter egg is highly unlikely (as that would probably require a flashback) there is still opportunity. Perhaps Newt, surrounded by the repercussions of unleashing a plethora of deadly animals upon New York, would reflect the good ole days in the House-Elf Relocation office, and the cases that came with it. Clutching at straws it may be, but it is an interesting link between the two series€™ that could be included in the new film.
