1. Seven
Seven is indeed the magic number, and can be found in every corner of the Harry Potter Universe. Voldemort chose to split his soul into seven Horcruxes, there were seven Harry Potters made to distract the Deatheaters in the Deathly Hallows part 1, Barty Crouch Jr. used seven locks to trap Mad-Eye Moody, seven snakes were used to lock the large iron door on the Chamber of the Secrets, there were seven children in the Weasley family and of course the list continues. It is clear to see that in the Wizarding World the number seven reigns supreme, and should therefore certainly continue into Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. To start, the beasts being released from the suitcase should probably total seven, which not only makes them a stronger magical opponent to defeat but keeps happily with the theme. This could then be coupled with a weeks deadline to capture the animals and restrain them before something momentous happens. Additionally there's room to make the antagonists of this story (fanatical extremist group, the New Salem Philanthropic Society) a group of seven, or of course, give them seven leaders. Although there can only be speculation as to whether the numbers will be used at all, they are a defining feature of not only Harry Potter, but the entire Wizarding World. The new franchise would be missing out if they chose to ignore them. What Easter eggs do you expect to see in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them? Share any more youd like down in the comments.
