Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Teaser Trailer Breakdown: 29 Things You Need To See
21. Muggle Worthy
Internal security may be an issue, but at least some of the magic applied to the case works - it has a "Muggle Worthy" setting for security against those pesky No-Maj's. There was quite a stir amongst fans when the American word for muggle was announced, but the word featuring here means we'll get at least a taste of the culture clash behind it.
The setting changes the contents to be very ordinary things - classic wizard deception. With a divide more prominent here than in Potter, it's likely we'll get a much better look at the way magical types shield their world from the rest of us, which is quite an exciting prospect.
Seriously, what is up with this customs guy? "Anything edible? Any livestock?" How much does he think can fit in a case? This is some rather irritating dramatic irony that will hopefully play a little less obvious in the film.
Newt manages to convince him though, and he's through: "Welcome to New York".
