1. It's Full Of Crowd-Pleasing Fan Service

If you're a big Potter fan, you'll probably find the movie more tolerable than others simply because it's so aggressively jam-packed with fan-service.

From subtle Easter eggs to origin stories for classic Potter characters and even ballsy expansions of crucial lore, there's a ton here to take in, and a lot that'll surely only be uncovered on repeat viewings.

A great example of the film's well-executed fan service, for instance, occurs during a flashback set at Hogwarts, where we can briefly see students playing Quidditch in the background (and consequently flying around).

It's this aspect of the movie which, for many, will make it watchable despite its many troubling issues.

After all, many fans simply want to see more of the Wizarding World and aren't that fussed about its quality (as its inevitably stonking box office will surely confirm imminently).
