Yes, endearing everyman Jacob (Dan Fogel) is brought back into the fold...somehow, and the first time he's glimpsed in this trailer, he's being watched by one of Newt's especially peculiar creatures, an owl-like beast that clearly unsettles him.

Newt and Jacob seem on familiar terms by this point, so did Newt have to go through the rigmarole of introducing himself to Jacob again, or was Jacob's memory ultimately restored, totally undoing any emotional import the obliviation had in the first place?
