Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them Review: 4 Ups & 6 Downs

3. The Supporting Cast Is Totally Wasted

This movie is gifted with a supporting cast most directors would almost kill for, so it's a shame that, for the most part, the more famous cast members are left with little to do.

The most egregious examples are Samantha Morton, Ezra Miller (who is in a lot of scenes but barely does anything) and Jon Voight, who seem like they're here more for an easy paycheck than because there's a script worth tackling (and that's totally not their fault).

It's better to have them than not, but even so, with so much star power, it feels like a majorly missed opportunity not to make more of them turning up.
