Fantastic Four: 10 Theories For How They Can Join The MCU

Just like Doctor Doom could appear before the Fantastic Four themselves, so too could Galactus and the Silver Surfer. While those two are frequently vanquished by Marvel's First Family in the comic books, they're bound to be a Thanos-level threat in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it could take more than just Reed, Sue, Ben, and Johnny to stop Galactus from devouring the Earth.

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Star-Lord and company crossing paths with Silver Surfer could be a great way to confirm that Galactus has awakened and is heading for Earth (which was no doubt brought to his attention by the surge of power created by the Infinity Stones being used).

While the Fantastic Four would ultimately be pivotal in stopping Galactus, this sort of tease - even if it comes in the form of a post-credits scene - would be a perfect way to bring two iconic characters into this shared world and lay the groundwork for Reed and his team to have to step up and help the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes put an end to this World-Eater.
