Fantastic Four: 10 Things The MCU Must Deliver

6. Emphasise The Family Dynamic

The previous movies certainly tried to make this happen, but never quite managed to nail what it means for the Fantastic Four to be "Marvel's First Family." Sure, it was fun seeing the Human Torch toying with The Thing, while Reed and Sue being romantically involved is always inevitable; however, the team never really ended up feeling like a true family.

The brother/sister dynamic between Sue and Johnny Storm was surface level at best, while Reed being tortured by the fact he couldn't cure Ben Grimm (who is his best friend and very much like a brother to him) just became a weird subplot involving Doctor Doom.

The MCU's version of the Fantastic Four should be a family movie about a family of superheroes, and that's why it's so important for us to pick up with a version of the team that isn't new. At this point, their dynamic should have already been established, and it would be no bad thing if Reed and Sue have already had their son, Franklin, at this point in their history.
