Fantastic Four: 10 Things The MCU Must Deliver

5. The Galactus (And Silver Surfer) We Want And Deserve

Mister Fantastic John Krasinski
Marvel Comics

Remember when Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer did a surprisingly decent job with the surfboard riding hero from outer space? If so, then we're betting you also recall that cringe-worthy take on Galactus which essentially portrayed the iconic villain as a, well, nondescript cloud.

There were some hints that something might be inside that, but the sequel's portrayal of the World Eater was comically bad, and it's now down to Marvel Studios to make things right. Kevin Feige is a big fan of both Galactus and the Silver Surfer, so chances are he has big plans for them both, and that's likely to extend well beyond the Fantastic Four franchise.

When it comes to an introduction, however, it should definitely be within this reboot, and the thought of John Krasinski staring down the skyscraper-sized Galactus with the Ultimate Nullifier in hand is one it's impossible not to get excited about if you're a fan of the comic books.

Oh, and yes, Galactus definitely needs to look exactly as he does in the source material regardless of how silly that may be (we're sure there are way to make it look better in live-action).
