4. It's Clobbering Time

The most pop culturally iconic element of the whole Fantastic Four ephemera is Thing's catchphrase, "It's clobberin' time". And, despite the tone, it does get used in the new movie - Ben screams it just before punching Doom into the black hole. What's interesting here is less that it's there, but more the manner in which it's said. Namely, that it doesn't really fit the visuals as shot - it's a rushed line of dialogue that feels like it was added in post-production after being absent from the original script. So it's not only a reference back to the comics, but also a more obvious remnant of this film's rather rocky production.
