9. Doom The Doctor

Like several other modern superhero franchises, Fantastic Four shies away from having the characters given what are now pretty silly names. But that's not to say those comic book monikers are totally absent; when Victor goes on one of his "ruined world" rants early on in the film, Sue jokingly dubs him "Doctor Doom". Ha! It doesn't stick though - he never takes up the name properly, only calling himself Doom in the final showdown (probably because being a Doctor or not has little impact when you're destroying the Earth). In the film's final scene, similar joking allows the film to call Johnny the Human Torch and Ben The Thing.
