Fantastic Four Reboot: 8 Actors to Petrify as Dr. Doom

1. Jean Dujardin

Easily one of my favorite picks, the only major problem I have is that I'm not sure how well his English has progressed since winning Best Actor last year. He's obviously got the whole Doom package: European, the look, the body type, and the acting talent; and of course it'd be sensationally interesting to see him take on such a villainous role. So, if he's English is up to par, I'd say that he'd make a pretty damn great Victor von Doom. After all, he won his Academy Award for barely saying a word. And while Doom is very, very much a dialogue driven character because of his mask, he's also all about body language, which is something Dujardin mastered for The Artist. And that completes the list. Of course, there are always cries for the likes of Viggo Mortensen, but he seems to be steering clear of mainstream work nowadays. So, who would you like to see under the cape? Mortensen? Fassbender? Any of these folks? Let your voice be heard down below!

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
