Fast & Furious: 6 Reasons Why This Franchise Hasn't Died Yet

1. These Movies Are Fun

vin-diesel-fast-five-sequels Whether you love them or hate them, there's no denying the gloriously trashy fun to be had watching installments in this franchise. I don't consider myself a "fan" of these movies and I've seen three or four of them. They're like a spectacular train wreck; you can't help but rubberneck to get a better look at the mangled humanity as you drive by. The overcooked bad-ass dialogue, the weird car porn... the sheer ignorance of basic physics and engineering... what's not to love? It's a series of films devoted to crashing cars into things (trains, 18 wheelers, planes!) that cars have no business crashing into. These are apologetically cheesy movies, all of which are pretty much made to be laughed at. Ya gotta love 'em. What do you make of the Fast & Furious franchise?
